Ministry Introduction

Welcome to Bristol Raceway Ministries serving at Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tennessee. We provide a diverse set of sixteen distinct ministries to race fans to make their time at the speedway a more wonderful experience.

More than 400 volunteers and chaplains typically minister inside the racetrack and to the tens of thousands of race fans staying in 12 surrounding campgrounds. Bristol Raceway Ministries chaplains also minister at the Food City Family Night festivities held in downtown Bristol during the Autumn race week. Family Day - Spring '09 Plans Bristol Raceway Ministries is pleased to announce plans for YouthFest '09 that will take place on Saturday morning, March 21, at the Bristol Drag Strip. The featured guest will be the Christian Band Soul Sister Sally, which offers a funky, jazz-inspired, R & B sound rarely found on today’s contemporary Christian music scene. Adults and youth attending YouthFest '09 may be eligible to receive special reduced priced tickets to that afternoon's Scott's Turf Builder 300. Click here for additional information and order form.

On race days, over sixty Bristol Raceway Ministry chaplains minister on the grounds of the speedway in a variety of ways. They distribute wonderful Christian material to encourage people in their spiritual lives. They coordinate closely with emergency personnel (EMS and on-site Care Center personnel from Bristol's Regional Medical Center) to offer spiritual counseling to the hurting and their families. They operate passenger vans to transport family members and friends of patients to and from the hospital when appropriate.

Bristol Raceway Ministries also operates a golf-cart transportation ministry to assist those who are handicaped or have minor injuries for whom the walking the hilly terrain around the racetrack is just too challenging.

Bristol Raceway Ministries anticipates that many race fans will come to see a race and find the Lord Jesus as Savior and Lord.
